26th October 1985:Marty McFly travel to the future with his friend Dr. Emmett L. Brown in a time machine. They arrive on 21st October 2015.
21st October 2015:I’m in Back To The Future‘s future and I still haven’t seen Marty McFly coming.
1989:Back To The Future-Part II was released as a sequel of Back To The Future.
From that moment a whole generation of teenagers grew up fantasising about the future and all the new technological devices which were shown in Robert Zemeckis’ movie.
The most famous icon of the entire saga is without a shadow of a doubt the DeLorean DMC-12.
With its innovative design and its futuristic gull-wing door, it is still remembered as the “Back To The Future car”.
I still haven’t seen flying cars or hoverboards(even though a few prototypes have been built), but iPads, tablets, mobile phones and other devices have taken part in our everyday life.
Everything is easier and has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Nowadays we can make phone calls, send text messages and e-mails, listen to music, surf the Internet, take pictures, shoot videos, take notes and many more things on a single device.
Unfortunately from the 22nd October, Back To the Future’s future will just be the past.
In fact, Marty McFly arrives and leaves on 21st October 2015, which means that today was the last day of the future.
But this won’t surely spoil the magnificence of the whole Trilogy: as the DeLorean number plate reminds us, this saga will always be an OUTATIME classic.
